Hello everybody! I look forward to chatting to you all on this great forum. Here's a little bit about me.

Name: Alex
Location: Sheffield
Home: 2 bedroom flat
Occupants: 2 guys
Lifestyle: I'm an active 25 year old PhD student. My hours are flexible so some days I'm out of the house at 7am and back at 10pm, and other days I work from home. Aside from my work I enjoy running, playing badminton and socialising. I often cook nice meals for myself when I get home and I volunteer for a charity called EWB-UK. At the end of the day, I really enjoy kicking back watching a good game of rugby, or a film on the tv.

Hopefully this give you a good idea about who I am for now.

Welcome everybody to The Energy Community Forums!

I am looking forward to finding out how people are using energy and what problems or issues they have which I can help with.

Name: Andrew
Location: Northwich, Cheshire
Home: 4 Bed Detached house
Occupants: Myself and my parents
Lifestyle: I'm in the writing up stage of my PhD which unfortunately means I am working from home a lot. My parents are now both retired. So when they are not jetting off on holiday and spending my inheritance they are around the house too.

Name: William at BeWarmer
Location: Walton-on-Thames
Home: 4 bedroom house
Occupants: Me, my wife, and 2 grown up daughters
Lifestyle: I work from home and my business is on-demand heating. It's not economical - or sensible - to run the central heating when I'm the only one in. So on-demand heating in my home office keeps me warm and alert while the central heating is off all day. You can download a free report 'How I heat the rooms in my home' here Hope this helps.

Name: Mike
Location: Sheffield, UK
Home: Owned 2 bedroom terraced house, really old!
Occupants: 3, Myself, my wife and our 8 year old son
Lifestyle: I work typically 9 until 5. I'm out some nights playing footy and other nights we take our son to karate and trampoline class at Ponds. Other than that, we enjoy watching TV and our son plays a lot on his game console. We've only recently moved into our house. It was at the upper end of our budget and we don't have too much to spend on home improvements at the moment.
